A couple of weeks back I met a guy called Lewis Dobson who told me he was building a web site for storm chasers.
I figured I would try and get some images themed around his project, it presented a different challenge to me the recent weather in Beverley was making for some interesting cloud formations.
Ok this is where it starts to sound sad, I know that, but that aside taking pictures of clouds has somewhat caught my imagination!
Having never done this before I have been trying a few shots while at sports games or just walking about, it was on one of these walks buy pure luck I got an image that got me well and truly hooked.
A couple of days ago while walking the dog I took a series of pictures that show a storm coming into Beverley over Burton Bushes.
Sat with a very impatient dog and a camera I waited snapping away, sure enough the skies darkened and it became a lot colder as weather drew nearer.
What you are looking at is Burton Bushes, to the right is where Beverley Racecourse is and to the left is Beverley Gold Club. I am guessing that is the rain that was soon to be falling over the heart of Beverley.
Good them mate. Now you need some spectacular subject matter in the foreground, and bob’s your uncle
Absolutely wonderful photo’s – all the ‘spectacular subject matter’ is right there for all to see. Why spoil something naturally amazing with something unrequired?
