Local tutor, Amelia Caruso, has got together with the Beverley Arms Hotel to deliver fun, communication based, Italian lessons for beginners.
Amelia has been teaching languages since 1996 and has also taught abroad in Spain and Italy, where she acquired both languages. She says she understands how it is from the learners’ point of view as she also learnt French and German at school.
Amelia likes her students to have a good time whilst they learn and uses lots of communicative activities and games in the lessons to spice things up a little and get students talking in Italian from day 1.
The Beverley Arms is a perfect, informal, location for the classes and students can buy a drink before class and during the break, adding to the informal approach.
Classes will begin soon on a Monday evening between 7 and 9 pm for 10 weeks initially.
