Beverley Delivery Service Set For More Awards

Beverley Business MaruMarket has once again caught the attention media making the final of the Yorkshire Post’s business awards.

John Cant who founded the business said;

“It’s a fantastic honour to be recognised alongside some big names in business.”

“We were highly commended at The Yorkshire Coast awards earlier this month and I’m delighted that our innovative way of helping local shops compete with supermarkets is being acknowledged.”

“We’ve only been trading for 9 months and it’s remarkable how far we’ve come in such a short space of time. We’re adding suppliers and improving our service all the time and recently added locally kiln dried firewood deliveries to our service of fine fresh groceries.”

MaruMarket offer a delivery service in the area using whereby they link up local shops with local customers. The business has teamed up with a number of suppliers to bring goods to people’s doors.

Their business model has been nominated as best young business by the Yorkshire newspaper just months after ‘New Beverley Business Makes UK Top 50.’

John Cant will have to wait till the end of the month to see if he has scooped an award, the results will be announced on the 31st October at a ceremony being held at The Queens hotel in Leeds.
