Local florist Fleurs De Lisa current window display of carved pumpkins is getting a lot of attention from shoppers.
The creations which were the idea of business owner Lisa Barrow feature everything from traditional styled spooky faces through to more eccentric designs.
Senior Florist Rachel Frank said;
“We started work on them on Monday morning finally completing the last one at 10pm.”
“The kids really love them, one young boy was mesmerised by the pumpkin with the leg hanging out its mouth.”
“As a store we do this type of thing as it gets us a lot of attention from passers by, but we also like to see the look on the children’s faces when they see them.”
Rachel said the feedback from the public has been very good, indeed in short space of time we were there numerous people stopped and discussed what was in the window.
Rachel added;
“The most popular ones have been the pirate and mutant turtle with the youngsters.”
Shoppers will get to enjoy another few days of the display, the pumpkins are set to stay in the window until Saturday when the window will again be changed.
