Beverley Town Football Club were crowned North Counties Champions after they beat Eagley FC in the final 3-1.
Town who were representing the East Riding County FA got the goals thanks to Dane Mortimer, Rob Northen and Dan Walker to secure the converted title.
Beverley Town were in control for most of the game though fell behind after a deflected goal gave Eagley FC the lead but Town turned it round to win comfortably.
Manger David Ricardo said;
“We were on top of our game this week, the players had a great attitude and worked hard for one another.”
“I was extremely pleased with the character shown by the players after going a goal down and how they got back into the match.”
“The pitch was superb for us and allowed us to play our passing game. I felt we could have had more goals but ultimately today was about winning.”
Town return to action in the week and could end the week top of the Humber Premier League if they can beat Pocklington Town as they look to complete what will be a fantastic double.
