Students making up the Class of 2019 from Beverley High School and Beverley Grammar School should be very proud.

More than nine out of ten Year 6 children in the East Riding have been awarded places for the school named by parents as their first choice in the 2019/20 secondary school admissions round.
Letters to parents, informing them of the outcome of their applications for secondary school places in September 2019, are being sent out today, Friday 1st March. This is known as ‘National Offer Day’ and is the date that all local authorities in England have to send the letters out to parents.

CyberFirst is a programme of opportunities and supports helping young people explore their passion for computers and technology. Also, it helps young women to the fascinating and critical world of cyber security.
East Riding secondary schools are again celebrating their success in the GCSE league tables. The news comes are the new tables were issued by the Department for Education.
Results show that 46.30pc of students studying in East Yorkshire Schools achieved grade 5 or above in English and Maths.

Graham was made aware of the production by the Shakespeare Schools Foundation who informed him of the excellent work they do to promote the Bard’s plays.

Mr Stuart saw presentations from pupils about education around the world, before speaking to them about what the Government is doing to help disadvantaged children across the globe receive a school education.
Beverley High School welcomed Dr Kirsty Clode as their guest speaker for their Celebration Event which acknowledged the achievement of pupils from Year 7 and Year 8.
Dr Clode, gave a talk on how she shaped a career working with global business giants, and through persistence defied the odds to build a career in male dominated world.
