Cllr Healy Welcomes News That GP Surgery Is To Be Expanded

Cllr Denis Healy has welcomed news that plans to allow a surgery in Molescroft to expand and keep up with demand being put on local medical resources.

Cllr Healy who represents people in St Mary’s Ward says people in his patch are concerned with the level of development and lack on infrastructure to support the growth in population.

Moths Make Magical Mark On Lockwood Road Bushes

Ermine moths have made a spectacular impression on bushes in Lockwood Road, Beverley. As pictured, thousands of the ermine moth caterpillar have weaved their magic on the bushes and trees opposite the doctor’s surgery, festooning them with drooping nets of silk. It’s a strangley primordial sight, especially in twilight, but it’s a sight anyone interested will have to see quickly as the caterpillars will soon pupate and turn into moths….
