Beverley Town Football Club is inviting the local community to attend their first-ever ‘Sponsors Day. The event which will be held at their home ground will take place from 1PM.
Club Development Officer, Rich Jagger says the day is being held as the club look to raise additional funding in order to climb the football pyramid.
Brough Golf Club is delighted to host the prestigious Brough Classic Pro-Am over the two days of 19th and 20th August 2021.
The club has secured a major sponsor for this year’s event and is pleased to be working with Transwaste to provide another top-class event in the North Region.
Beverley Town Football Club remains third in the Humber Premier League after they beat Hedon 3-0 at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
A brace from Joe Norton and goal from Aldo Hysenaj ensured Town secured all three points. Gaffer Rich Jagger will also be pleased that his side again kept a clean sheet.
Brough Golf Club held the 40th Brough Classic Pro-am on 3rd & 4th June, which attracted a field of 30 of the region’s top Golf Professionals joined by their amateur teammates.
The course was presented in fine condition and proved to be a very tough test of golf for both Pros and amateurs alike.
Beverley Town Football Club dropped two points as ten men Sculcoates Amateurs scored late to earn a draw at Norwood.
Leon Dawson gave Town the lead midway through the first half. However the visitors, despite being reduced to ten men battled back to equalise in the closing seconds of the match.
Beverley Town were held at home by Chalk Lane as the sides shared six goals in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Beverley went 1-0 following a well-worked goal from Karl Fitzgerald. Chalk had a good penalty appeal turned away, both teams created some good chances but neither side could convert. The first half was played at a frantic pace, with both teams determined to get a foothold on the game.
Beverley Town Football Club is second in the Humber Premier League after they beat East Riding Rangers 4-1 at Norwood.
Town went into the game knowing that win by four clear goals would see them top the table. However, despite their best efforts they narrowly missed out.
Pocklington Town will head to Norwood this weekend to face an in-form Beverley Town in the Humber Premier League.
Pocklington currently top the table with a four-point advantage over Beverley Town. Rich Jagger says that Beverley will be looking to continue their winning run while also aiming to close the gap.
