Community Covenant To Be Re-signing At Beverley Armed Forces Day

A number of local organisations and community groups will re-sign the East Riding’s Armed Forces Community Covenant on Sunday, 1 July as part of Beverley Armed Forces Day.

The Armed Forces Community Covenant is a voluntary statement of mutual support between East Riding of Yorkshire Council, local representatives of the public, charitable and voluntary sectors, the civilian community and the armed forces community in the form of a written pledge.

Yorkshire Regiment To Parade Through Beverley Ahead Of Deployment

Over a hundred soldiers will march through Beverley and Bridlington with bayonets fixed, colours flying and bands playing as they exercise their freedom rights.

Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion of The Yorkshire Regiment will take part in the Freedom Parades on Friday, 30 June led by commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Sam Humpris.
