The summer holidays are fast approaching and Beverley Leisure Complex has organised a variety of activities as part of the summer programme.
A couple of new things starting this year are the adventure activity days, which are happening on three separate Mondays and the weekly sports camps.
The adventure activity days will be a fun-filled day of adventure, problem solving, alternative fun activities, treasure hunts and orienteering. There will be a range of team-based problem solving games such as river crossing and memory maze. Other activities include kite making and craft building races and alternative sports including Frisbee golf.
The sports camp will consist of a number of different sporting activities including mainstream sports such as football, cricket, basketball, swimming and rounders. There will also be a variety of alternative activities including volleyball, tag rugby, ultimate Frisbee, disc golf and dodge ball. The sessions will be fun-based with mini competitions and prizes.
