Beverley Art Gallery will run a workshop for children aged seven and over as part of its new exhibition ‘Lost Property – found object artwork’ by Martin Waters.
The workshop will be held in two parts with the first sessions taking place on Monday, 3 August, between 10.30am – 12noon when a beach clean will take place at Flamborough to search for items to make art from.
The second part of the workshop will take place on Monday, 10 August, between 10 am –12noon and participants will be able to make collages at the Gallery from the materials they collected. The workshop will also look at the ‘Lost Property’ exhibition.
Participants will have the opportunity to display their work in the Gallery and must be able to attend both sessions. The Lost Property exhibition will run at the gallery from 1 August to 5 September.
The workshop is suitable for families with children aged seven years and over who must be accompanied by a parent or carer. The total cost for the workshop including both sessions is £6 per child and accompanying adults can attend for free.
