A party from Beverley’s twin town of Lemgo, including five firefighters, has arrived in the area to further strengthen ties between the two towns.
Today, we caught up with Sebastian Krug and other members of the Lemgo Junior Fire Service, who are staying for a week at Beverley Friary.
While here, Sebastian and his colleagues will take in the sights of Beverley, Hull and York and spend time with the Humberside Fire Brigade at Beverley Fire Station. The purpose of the visit is to further strengthen ties between Beverley and Lemgo.
The fire services were twinned earlier this year when fire fighters from Beverley visited their counterparts in Germany.
