A new exhibition “Nature’s Fairest Forms” will go on show at Beverley Art Gallery between 24 October – 28 November. The exhibition brings together the work of two artists, Dryden Rooney and Barbara Wood.
Dryden Rooney’s realistic and atmospheric paintings are done in acrylic and many are inspired by poetry from John Milton and William Wordsworth. The paintings were all produced over the last two years and involved numerous site visits to the Yorkshire Dales, coast and Lake District.
Barbara Wood produces ceramics and this exhibition includes wall plaques, vessels and bowls. She finds inspiration in the patterns and textures of seed pods, vegetables and foliage.
