The Humber Keel Tavern in Beverley played host to the finals day of the Beverley Pub Pool League. Highlight of the evening was the team event that saw the Humber Keel take on the Sloop Inn in a first to seven match.
With the Sloop Inn being Favourites for the title, the Sloop Inn found them selves 4 – 1 and it looked as though the Humber Keel Tavern would walk away with the poll championship.
The Sloop Inn had other ideas and some good solo efforts in the team match saw them take the Humber Keel Tavern to a decider and finally winning 7 – 6 to complete their come back.
