Beverley RUFC welcome Rochdale RFC to Beaver Park this Saturday for their first ever visit. Lying just below the Beavers in National League 3, Rochdale, nevertheless have a similar record to the Beavers and last week recorded a useful win over West Hartlepool by a 30 point margin.
Beverley need to return to winning ways as soon as possible. They have had a very difficult October playing all of the teams at the top of the table in consecutive weeks and have lost four and drawn one in that time. However all of those games except the mauling at the hands of Sheffield Tigers, were very close and, with a little luck, the Beavers could have won them. Perhaps this week will see them turn the corner and progress from their very creditable draw away at Penrith last week.
They are still without Ian Archibald, Robert Todd and Vinnie Collingwood, all of whom are keeping the fracture clinic at HRI in business, and name a squad of 20
for this Saturday.
Supporters should note the kick-off time of 2.15 p. m. and that all matches will kick off at that time until March 2010
