Bonfire Aftermath & Clean Up

What happens after 6,000 people have visited the Westwood on bonfire night, some one has to clean up the remains of the giant bonfire and also the litter that is left by those who were there the evening before. The Beverley Lions with help from East Riding Council and some members of the Armed services cleared all the litter. The most important thing was to collect all the old sparklers that have been discarded on the ground as these cause big problems for the cattle that graze on the Beverley Westwood, a tough dirty job but one that has to be done.
