Beverley ATC held their annual presentation night at Longcroft School where a number of cadets received awards for a wide range of achievements that included sport and flying. Derek Alden of the Civilian Committee started proceedings with short talk to the audience that included guest from the Community Police, Mayor of Beverley and families, before handing over to Flt Lt Gavin Button.
Flt Lt Gavin Button paid a tribute to Ross Sissons who is leaving the cadets, presenting him a book about the Battle of Britain. The cadet made a short speech reflecting on his time in the cadets and places he has been on trips, including a visit to Cyprus.
Sergeant Nicholas Waudby present an award to Cdt Holey for Best Sports Cadet, Cdt Holey was also promoted to Corporal. Best Exam results was awarded to Cdt Lazenby.
Sergeant Tim Waudby presented a Merit Award and also a promotion for Cpl King and an endever award to Cdt Cullen. The final awards were given out by Flt Lt Gavin Button, Best Cadet was won by Cdt Jones, Best NCO was given to Cpl Spink, who was also promoted to Sergeant and the Yellow Wing won the best internal team.
