A Santa Fun Run was held in Beverley to hep raise awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Runners of all ages dressed in festive Santa Claus outfits before tackling a short run, jog and in some cases a walk around the 3K course.
The Mayor of Beverley was there to set the runners of before he completed the event walking the course with Major Chris Jackson and his son Adam Jackson. Adam who has had major surgery and suffers from Cystic Fibrosis got round the full course with his Father and the Mayor of Beverley.
A steam engine provided a side attraction; runners and members of the public were permitted to blow the whistle on the engine in return for a small donation, special thanks from the owners of the Steam Engine was given to Red House Farm Cottages who provided them with free overnight accommodation.
