Beverley Leisure Centre is running various fun activities for children aged five to 12 throughout the February school half-term (15 to 19 February).  These sessions, which are pay and play ones, run daily 2pm – 4pm from Tuesday to Friday of half-term, and cost £3.40 per session.

Tuesday      Bouncy castle and dodgeball
Wednesday     Urban street dance class
Thursday    Bouncy castle, parachute games and Frisbee fun
Friday        Roller disco

On Friday, 19 February (8.30am – 5.pm), the leisure complex is running an activity day for children aged eight to 12, which will be packed full of exciting activities such as:
*    Orienteering
*    Problem solving
*    Frisbee fun
*    Multi-sports
*    Pool float fun session

The cost for the day is £12. Children who want to attend this fun-filled day need to be equipped with indoor and outdoor wear and their swimming attire. As the session runs for the full day, children will need to bring with them a packed lunch and plenty of drink or spending money for the café and vending machines. The lunch period will be supervised so children must stay on site.

Coby Kemp, senior assistant facility manager, said: “Our holiday activities during half term will get your children up, out and active whilst giving you time to relax, safe in the knowledge that they are in good hands.”

To book onto the activity day, please contact the leisure complex reception on 01482 395231 or log onto www.beverleyleisurecomplex.co.uk for more information regarding our February half-term programme.

On Monday, 15 February, there are two disability sessions running for young people.  The Beverley Fun Club is on 10am to 12 noon for 5+years and costs £2.50.  The session will include a bouncy castle, soft play and a variety of disability sports catering for all.

In the afternoon, 1-3pm, there is a multi-sport ‘come and try session’ for older children aged 12 to 17 which also costs £2.50 and will feature a variety of sports including football, Boccia, new age curling and sitting volleybal. Friends and siblings are very welcome to attend the sessions.  Come along and have some fun and make new friends.
