Chester RFC are the visitors to Beaver Park this weekend for the twice rearranged game in National League 3 (North). Beverley RUFC lost the corresponding game at Chester early in the season although they felt hard done by that day losing both Junior Tupai to a broken wrist and Goran Jelencic to concussion, very early in the game. Thankfully both have recovered well and have been influential in the Beavers’recent run of form.
For this Saturday’s match it is hoped that Phil Duboulay will be fit to return at fly half although Jade Gardiner is still injured and Craig Hancock not available due to University commitments. The squad will not be finalised until after Thursday nights training.
Last Saturday Beverley RUFC overcame a dour Middlesbrough side 14-13 despite playing well below their true form.
Beverley RUFC will need to be at their top form to overcome a young Chester side that have been one of the early season pacesetters.
The match and the Match ball are sponsored by Moduflow Plumbing Services Ltd
