Beverley Town climbed to second in the Humber Premier League after being held to a 1 – 1 draw by Pocklington Town at the Norwood Recreation Ground. Beverley Town were missing a number key attacking players and the conditions of the pitch made things difficult for both sides.
The point however brings them level with Reckitts AFC who suffered a shock defeat to on the road to Heddon Rangers. Next up for Beverley Town is another home fixture against top of the table Reckitts AFC who have a game in hand on Beverley Town.
