Beverley Athletic Club has announced that the annual Beverley 10k road race is now full. All 1300 places have been snapped up – 13 of them by sponsor Martin Hall and his employees.
Mr Hall is Chairman and Managing Director of Hall Construction Group and is also a keen runner and triathlete. He has been allocated number 1 for the Beverley 10k and will be joined by 12 of his employees.
Team Hall’s training is progressing well and Mr Hall will be leading by example – he ran the race in a very respectable 44.27 last year.
This is the second year running that Hall Construction Group has sponsored the race. Mr Hall commented: “As a local family firm we are pleased to be able to support such a prestigious local event and also this year’s race charity, Jacob’s Well.”
Although the 10k is full, places are still available in the 2k fun run and to avoid disappointment runners are advised to enter as soon as possible. There will be no entries on race day – Sunday 9 May. Entry forms are available from the Leisure Centre and Start Fitness in Beverley and on-line from the Beverley Athletic Club Web Site
