With an election looming Labour Candidate Ian Saunders was out on the streets of Beverley this Sunday knocking on doors getting to know the people behind them. Mr Saunders was accompanied by local Councillor Mr J Whitfield and Mr D Poole of the Poppy Appeal.
Ian Saunders from school joined the Royal Navy and has spent his working life in the telecommunications industry. His main political interests are the Armed Services, Education, Health, Local Government and Children’s Services.
Based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Mr Saunders is still looking for a home in the constituency he will contest, Beverley & Holderness. He seemed confident that he and his party Labour have what it takes to win the seat from current MP Graham Stuart.
