The Beverley Braves got their season underway at the Beverley Leisure Centre. The Junior Rugby League side were missing a number of players and despite their best efforts Beverley were unable to keep Cottingham Tigers at bay. The Tigers won the match 48 – 4, scorer for the Beverley Braves was Ethan Cambridge who scored the home sides only try.
