The Molescroft Terriers came back from a halftime two goal deficit to draw three all with East Riding Rangers B at Longcroft School.
Molescroft FC can count however will feel a little hard done by going in at half time behind with no reward for the good football shown on the pitch.
The second half saw a change of fortune as Robbie, Cazza and Jordy linked up well on the left. Their creativity and dominance began to create chances for Molescroft FC strikers, it was Harry who capitalised tapping in from close range to bring Molescroft FC back into the match.
After more pressure form the home side they were awarded a corner, Elmo delivered a perfect cross for Tommy to head home. East Riding disputed the goal claiming a push on the keeper but the goal stood.
East Riding pushed and only for a class save from the Molescroft they would have scored. With just 5 minutes left in the game the visitors were awarded a penalty scoring making the score 2 – 3.
Directly from the restart Molescroft FC applied pressure, with time running out a ball dropped at the feet of the skipper, Harry, who instinctively finished from the edge of the box to square off the match, final score 3 – 3.
After the match manager Dave praised the lads for a fantastic performance and a well deserved draw.
Man of the match was given to Elmo for his domination of centre midfield
