Hodgsons FC have booked their place in the of the East Riding County Cup Final with a 2 – 1 win against Bridlington Sports Club. The Tanners did not have it all their own way and were a goal behind at half time.
In the second half Hodgsons FC slowly gained control and were quickly reward after good work from Adam Foster played in Danny Cartwright to tap in from close range. Mid way through the second half Hodgsons FC had a goal ruled and survived a claim for a penalty.
With the match heading for extra time Adam Foster found the net, Steve Grantham played in Cartwright who crossed for Adam Foster to score with head with just seconds remaining in the match.
