  1. This clueless toff has no clue what is best for the people of his constituency.

  2. Very interesting comment Sam. Obviously you’ll know that because you’ve spoken to him many times and have formed an opinion based on fact? No….just an ignorant clueless rant then!

  3. Well Kerri you answered the question before I could reply. You may not class meeting him three times as ‘many times’ but I still felt that this was sufficient enough to form the opinion that he is not in touch with the real problems that people in the constituency face.

  4. Our MP has been involved with involved with many local projects and has made public protests about numerous things (something he will find harder if his party rules), he often calls in at local watering holes to watch his favourite soccer team and have a chat to the lads, he comes in for some stick but can take it and give it. I am not saying that he is as clued up as Sam, who may be a very erudite person in disguise but I am saying that you would have to travel a long, long way to find a sitting MP who is as involved with the local area and people as much as Graham Stuart.

  5. i think people have got to understand that all the local projects and protesting as stated by Patrick is all part of our MP’s job description.
that is what they are elected for- to represent local people and local issues on the national stage.
i agree Graham might find he has his hands tied this time around if his party forms a government – he may find he is at the mercy and wrath of the party whip. opposition MP’s always speak the loudest and are the most critical but tend to become less proactive when in government.
whether he will vote against government issues and policies that are not in the interests of this area remains to be decided.
But lets give him that chance.
