Beverley Minster is a hive of activity as Songs of Praise prepare to produce the first of two shows they will be filmed at Beverley Minster. Filming tonight will begin at 7pm and then tomorrow evening a second show will be recorded.
To accommodate the Songs of Praise Beverley Minster has had lighting rigs installed through out the grand old building. Cameras have been mounted on all the vantage points and around 2KM worth of cabling has been used.
All of this will have to be removed after the filming ends tomorrow as the Antiques Roadshow is scheduled to record there too. The Antiques Roadshow requires a different type of lighting and equipment so Beverley Minster will be cleared out so the set can be put in place.
