Longcroft Gospel Choir Scoop Young Persons Award

The Longcroft School Gospel Choir received an award from Cllr David Elvidge at the Beverley Guildhall yesterday in recognition of their achievements. The choir also performed two songs while David Elvidge passed over his red robes.

Jonathan Chapman Choir director and Assistant Headteacher at Longcroft said;

“The gospel choir has been performing in and around Beverley for four years and has always enjoyed the support of the Mayor and the Beverley Town Council. Receiving the Young Persons Award tonight is a genuine privilege for the choir.”

“They positively reflect many young people in the town and represent Longcroft and indeed the whole of Beverley with great pride. We are delighted to be receiving this award and are grateful to the outgoing Mayor for his support. We look for to working with the new Mayor of Beverley on the future.”
