Superb innings from Ben Fish and Tim Fordon, and a fine performance with the ball from Paul Fleming, helped Beverley Town CC 3rd XI to their first victory of the season.
They racked up an impressive 184-5 at home to Driffield 4ths, Fish hitting an impressive 63 and Fordon an unbeaten 58.
When Driffield batted there was no doubt who the star performer for Beverley was.
Fleming, with help from Keiran O’Brian (2-37), ripped through the Driffield batting, taking 6-30 as Driffield was bowled out for 156, Beverley winning by 28 runs.
