Tickets for the Beverley Festival’s headline act The Proclaimers, on Sunday 20th June, are now almost sold out and festival organisers urge those interested in purchasing tickets to contact the festival office as soon as possible or go online to the festival website for further details.
Tickets for their other headline events are also available, including Scottish singer Eddi Reader, with support Henry Priestman (Friday 18th), The Demon Barber Roadshow with the stunning American band Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams will be performing for the festival’s Mid-Summer Party and Dance Night; The Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band appear once again in the historic Beverley Minster; also appearing will be Martin Simpson, and Ivan Brackenbury (all on Saturday 19th).
On the Sunday appearing are Roy Bailey and Tony Benn, back again with their tales and songs of dissent , while Black Umfolosi from Zimbabwe will be leading a Gospel concert entitled “The World in Harmony”.
Scottish fiddle band, Blazin’ Fiddles appear twice to including the Festival Favourites concert on Sunday evening.. Many more artists and concerts will be taking place over the weekend, and tickets are now available for these.
For those wishing to attend the festival for a full day or the whole weekend, special rates exist giving ticket holders a change to attend all events over the particular day booked for, or the whole weekend, at a discounted price.
Those looking at visiting the increasingly popular Festival Village, can purchase tickets on arrival at the event. The box office at the Festival is open from 10.00am until 10.00pm.
