Police are searching for witnesses after a 13-year-old schoolboy was injured in a road-traffic accident in Beverley.
The boy was in a collision with a blue-coloured Chrysler – partial registration believed to be A9 BGC – on the pelican crossing on Molescroft Road at 3.55pm on Thursday 6 May. The driver failed to stop.
The victim, who was on his way home from school, was eventually moved to Hull Royal Infirmary after suffering leg injuries in the accident.
