Beverley’s music lovers are in for a unique treat when one of the country’s most innovative opera groups makes its first visit to the town.
North Star Opera will perform highlights from the famous opera Carmen and well-known music Les Miserables at Toll Gavel Methodist Church on Sunday 13 June from 2pm.
The group was formed more than 10 years ago by artistic director Michael Boe and boasts a number of leading singers from the country’s music colleges. Since it was formed, the group have earned a deserved reputation for their imaginative take on some of the most popular of operas.
Tickets to see the North Star Opera perform for the fist time in East Yorkshire are available from the Beverley Tourist Information office, priced £10 and £8 concessions
