Longcroft School and Performing Arts College year eight cricket team narrowly failed in their bid for final glory this week.
Taking on Pocklington school Woldgate School at the Norwood Recreation Ground, Longcroft batted first and posted a challenging 81-4 from their 20 overs.
But it was not enough as Woldgate School chased down the total for the loss of only four wickets.
