Children can enjoy a fun morning at Skidby Windmill on Friday, 4 June, where they can learn about the Romans and try out activities such as making Roman jewellery and pottery, write like a Roman (and learn a bit of Latin to impress friends), and make a cut-and -paste Roman granary. There will also be a chance to try on a toga.
The workshop (10.30am – 12.30pm) is suitable for children aged seven and upwards. Children under eight must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The workshop costs £6 (parents are free) and parents wishing to book their children in should ring the telephone booking service on 01482 392706/392699.
