Beverley Braves under-13s will be running out in a brand new kit thanks to the generosity of an East Yorkshire businessman.

Alan Robinson, of AFS Developments in Hessle, has provided the club with training tops and hats embroidered with the club’s name and logo. This follows on from Alan providing a full strip last season and a winter kit for another of the club’s teams.

The cousin of Mark Lazenby, whose son plays for the Beverley Braves under-13s, Alan is no stanger to the costs and difficulties associated with running a small club. He ran a boxing club for 10 years and is keen to support local teams when he can.

He told HU17.net:

“The teams need supporting, they train at night and so I felt it would be good to provide the team with practical clothing for night and winter training.

“The lads will look so much more professional when turn out in the same kit, and it will foster more team spirit and unity.”
