Saturday was a day to forget for Beverley Town CC 2nd XI.
They were hammered by eight wickets by Osbaldwick in their York and District Senior Cricket League Division Two clash.
Beverley batted first on an excellent wicket but failed to make the most of beautiful conditions as they were bowled out for just 99. Only Ian Goforth made any impact, scoring nearly half his side’s runs before falling for 46.
It was too easy for Osbaldwick as they cruised to 100-2.
The result leaves Beverley 2nd XI in mid-table.
