The Norwood Recreation Ground was the chosen venue for the cricket final that saw Cottingham CC beat Hull YPI by 9 wickets.
Batting first Hull managed just 59 runs from leaving champions Cottingham a target of just 60.
Cottingham easily chased down the target with their key player left hander Will Rhodes controlling things from the crease.
Rhodes looked like he could have batted all night and it was he who scored the final runs to secure the East Yorkshire Junior Cricket League – Under 17 (Final) cup for Cottingham.
