Beverley Town Bowls Club picked up a win yesterday evening at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Beverley faced what looked to be a tough fixture on paper from Melton though won the match 6 – Rinks to 4 Rinks.
Don Greenheld, Carl Johnson, Chris Robinson and Dave Robinson all picked up valuable wins along way helping win the aggregate too.
Club captain Carl Johnson said: “Everyone played well tonight, we are confident as a team and has lost just three fixtures this season. Dave and his wife Chris Robson did really well helping to secure the aggregate for the side.”
Beverley currently sit 3rd in the table, however this is not a current reflection on the sides performances.
Carl explained; “Tables are updated just twice in a season so we are not clear of our position. All I do know is there is not much of gap between third and top spot.”
