Moira Bartle and Jayne Wilson both picked up awards at the Cherry Burton Village Show for their flower arranging skills.
They served up cake-themed arrangements that looked good enough to eat. Moira’s entry was a sliced cake while her daughter Jayne made a tray of cup cakes.
Jayne said “We never tell each other what we are making and only find out on the day of the show.”
Jayne was awarded the Croft Rose Bowl for her overall efforts, a prize given for acquiring the most points in flower arranging section.
