Pocklington beat Beverley Town 2nd XI by 54 runs at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Winning the toss, the visitors opted to bat, setting Beverley a target of 227. Pick of the bowlers for Beverley was Iain Sugdon with figures of 2/67.
Sugdon was also Beverley’s best batter, racking up 31 runs off just 59 balls though it was not enough as Beverley were bowled out for 173.
