The Eager Beaver played Bransholme in a Pre-Season friendly at Longcroft School this weekend.
Despite leading with just 20 minutes to go, the Eager Beaver lost the game 4 – 2, the turning point being a penalty awarded to Bransholme.
They converted the spot kick and added a further two goals late on to seal the victory.
