Sally Chapman from the Children’s Centre said:
“We are really looking forward to welcoming children and families from the local community to the Fun Day. With lots of fun activities it is the perfect opportunity for families to take time out and enjoy doing things together. There’ll also be bun making, giant games, cookie decorating, story time, CD making, welly throwing, multi sports and lots more.”
Nick Johnson one of the organisers of the Fun Day said: “There will be plenty to keep children and young people entertained and there will also be agencies with stands promoting what they do and how they can help families. We hope that families will come along and enjoy the day and find out what services are available to them in the local area.
Services on the day will include the Children’s Centre, Youth Service, Police, Fire service, Sure-start and Extended Services and Health Service.
Families will also get the opportunity to see the newly extended facilities at the Children’s Centre.”

This event is FREE and open to everyone so bring your family and tell your friends, no need to book just turn up on the day. Children under 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
