Beverley Town Cricket Club 1st XI lost out to Dunnington CC at the Norwood Recreation Ground, losing the match by six wickets.
Beverley lost the toss and put into bat by the visitors, in team that included former West Indian test player Collis King. Jonathan Fisher was the pick of the batters scoring 50, with Andrew Burton making 46.
Talking point of the innings was the stumping of Captain Alan Acklam, pictures show the skipper was clearly inside the crease.
