Humbercolts Vs Humberside Police

The Humber Colts got their pre-season off to a winning start beating the Humberside Police.

The Police fielded a strong team that saw Hodgsons FC players Adam Foster, playing for the police and Steve Grantham, playing for the Colts, face one another.

In a good quality match the Humberside Police took the lead midway through the second half with strike that went through the legs of the Colts keeper.

A controversial equalizer by debutant Grantham brought the scores level. His free kick went directly in though the referee Rob Hunter allowed the goal despite complaints the kick was indirect.

With penalties looming the Humber Colts made a break and after a scramble the ball broke to Tom Moore. Moore finished smartly from 6 yards out with the last kick of the game.

Final score Humber Colts 2 Humberside Police 1.

Tom Moore strikes the winner in the final minutes of the game to steal the victory for the Humber Colts.
