The Beverley Minster has plenty to do this Summer including roof tours and live performances.

Roof Tour 1

A great treat for kids* this summer, book a guided tour of the Minster roof space to see ancient timbers, medieval construction techniques, stunning views through the rose windows and the treadwheel.

Thursday – Saturday 11.15am & 2.15pm. Adults £5, *Children (7-16) £2.50

Minimum 2 people (if there are less than two people, the tour will not take place) Maximum 25 people No Children under 7 years old.

Roof Tour 2

On August 30th the North West (clock) tower will be open to the public in groups starting at 10.00am and then every 40 minutes throughout the day.

It’s a 50 metre (165 foot) climb with 212 steps. It is not recommended for the claustrophobic or people with health concerns. It costs £10 for adults and also for children.

The view is magnificent.
