Beverley ARLC got their pre-season under way on Saturday.
The Blue and Golds lost the friendly held at the Beverley Leisure Centre against Chequerfield. Despite taking an early lead, they were unable to capitalise on it and lost the match 16 – 40.
Coach Richard Shaw focussed on the positives however. He told HU17.net “This was their first warm up match and I’m confident they will be ready for the start of the season.”
