The Humber Colts beat Cherry Burton yesterday evening, although they required a penalty shoot out after the game finished all square at 1 – 1.
On target for the Colts was Craig Ellis who gave the home side the lead with a tidy finish. Cherry Burton managed to force the equaliser, sending the game to spot kicks which the Humber Colts won 4 – 2.
Rob Hunter said after the game:
“This is the second season running we have beaten Cherry Burton. It is a good for the lads’ confidence and will give the momentum needed going into Sunday’s match.”
