The Beverley in Bloom Awards were presented this week by Mayor of Beverley, Bessie Foot.
Individuals, schools and businesses were all recognised for their floral display achievements. St John of Beverley RC Primary School won the Educational Endeavour.
Businesses that received awards included some of the most colourful establishments in the town this summer. Beverley Racecourse, The Tea Cosy in Highgate, The Green Dragon in Saturday Market and The Royal Standard North Bar Within all received gold awards.
Neal Ford picked up three awards, Best Newcomer, Best Allotment, Queensgate and impressively scooping up the title for ‘Best Overall Allotment.’
