Beverley and Holderness MP, Graham Stuart, said he hoped as many people as possible would get along to a public event showing what the new East Riding Community Hospital will look like from the outside.
The event, which will be held on Wednesday, October 6 at Temperton House, Beverley Westwood Hospital has been arranged to show which materials will be used on the exterior of the building. It will be open between 10.30am and 6.30pm.
Graham said:
“I looked round the site a few days ago and I think the hospital will be a fantastic facility for the town and area.
“This open event will be a good chance to learn more about the plans and see the actual materials which will be used on the exterior of the building. Anyone attending should end up with a much better idea of what the hospital will look like and how it will fit in to the landscape.”
Work is due to start on the access road to the new Swinemoor Lane site in the next few weeks.
